• From time to time, we will offer a detailed focus on an engine family that is used extensively in some of today’s most popular vehicles. This focus will showcase our commitment to producing quality, value-oriented reman gas engines that offer proven reliability and service.

Seven engine families, for which we are providing greater insight into our remanufacturing procedures, are the Ford Triton engine family which includes the 4.6, 5.4 and 6.8 two valve and three valve engines; the GM Gen III, IV, and V engine family; the Dodge/RAM/Jeep 5.7L Hemi engine; the GM 3.6L GDI engine; the 3.6L Pentastar, the Ford V6 EcoBoost/Duratec, and GM 2.4L Ecotec.

Triton engines have been used extensively in such popular applications as the Ford Explorer and Expedition, E Series vans and F Series trucks, Explorer Sport Trac, Mustang, Crown Vic, as well as the Lincoln Mark LT, Town Car, and Navigator.

Gen III, IV, and V engines are used extensively in such popular applications such as the C/K Series pick-up trucks, Tahoes, Suburbans, and Yukons. JASPER also offers an AFM Delete option for the following GM Gen IV and V 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L engines. Eliminate AFM lifter and solenoid issues with this available engine option; CARB EO compliant (D391-4) in all 50 states.

What is Carb EO Compliance?

    •  The California Air Resources Board Executive Order (CARB EO) is a regulatory requirement designed to control vehicle emissions in California. It sets specific standards and regulations to ensure vehicles meet emission levels that contribute to cleaner air and a healthier environment.

    •  CARB EO requires manufacturers to obtain an executive order for aftermarket parts or modifications that may affect emissions, including engine parts and exhaust systems. This certification demonstrates that products have undergone testing and meet the stringent emission standards set by the California Air Resources Board.

    •  Compliance with CARB EO is mandatory for manufacturers and distributors of aftermarket parts in California, ensuring that only emission-compliant products are available to consumers. Our emission-compliant products meet the highest standards set by the California Air Resources Board, ensuring environmental responsibility and performance.

The Dodge/RAM/Jeep 5.7L Hemi engine is widely used in Chrysler applications, as well as the RAM pickup trucks, Durango, 300, Magnum, Charger, Grand Cherokee, Commander, Aspen, and Challenger. JASPER offers a MDS Delete option for Dodge/RAM/Jeep applications. The 5.7L is CARB EO compliant (D391-3) in all 50 states.

The GM 3.6L GDI engine is commonly used in popular applications such as, Chevrolet: Traverse, Equinox, Camaro, Impala, and Caprice – Police Applications; Cadillac: CTS, SRX, STS, ATS; as well as Buick LaCrosse.

The Chrysler 3.6L Pentastar engine is used in popular applications such as the Chrysler 200 and 300; Dodge Avenger, Challenger, Charger, Durango, and Grand Caravan; Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler; and RAM 1500 and ProMaster.

The Ford v6 Duratec engines are found in applications such as the Ford Edge, Taurus, Flex, and Fusion; Lincoln MKX, MKT, and MKZ; and the Mercury Sable. EcoBoost Engines are used in the Ford Explorer, Expedition, F-150, Flex, Taurus, and Transit; Lincoln MKS, MKT, and Navigator.

The GM 2.4L Ecotec engine is used in popular applications such as the Buick LaCrosse, Regal, and Verano; Chevrolet Captiva Sport, Equinox, HHR, Impala, and Malibu; GMC Terrain; Pontiac G5, G6, and Solstice; and Saturn Aura, Ion, Sky, and Vue.
